11PM // THUNDERBURD 13

Thunderbird 13 are a hard hitting rock’n'roll band based in London. Formed from the remnants of several other bands, frontman Goffzilla fuses each members love of all things rock’n'roll to pruduce a sound that hasnt been heard since the good old days!
Turning a by-product of being sick of listening to fads and trends and an animalistic hunger for volume and guitar solos into a musical experience, they are grabbing genres of the past by the balls and punching modern music in the face.
With major TV and the recording of their debut album late this year, 2010 is set to be the year of the Thunderbird 13 So, if you are down with T13 and ready for a rock’n'roll revolution, saddle up the mule and get on board as they headline Plugged II at the Sir Charles Napier!
Influences: Black Label Society, Pantera, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Metallica, Viking Skull, Rob Zombie, Placebo, Motley Crue, Thin Lizzy, At the Drive In, Aerosmith, New York Dolls, Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Groundhogs, Foo Fighters

Influences: Bauhaus, Rosetta Stone (really!?), Fields of the Nephilim, Bella Morte, The Cure and The Crüxshadows.

9PM // SPLYCE
All the way from Burnley, these lads are fast developing a big local following. Will claims to be the brains, providing lyrics, guitar riffs. Joe is on bass and brings an element of cool to the group and Matt ties it all together. See them, hear them, meet them before they get too big for us.
Influences: Dave Matthews Band, Rush, Thunder, Killswitch Engage, Trivium, InMe, The Fratellis, The Offspring, Random Jazz, Foo Fighters and Oasis.

8PM // ATARI HILL
Born from the ashes of Another DOA and Silent Scream in late 2006, Atari Hill is four piece rock band from our very own Blackburn, England.
Influences: Dry Cell, Silent Civilian, Metallica, Spineshank, Iron Maiden, Paradise Lost, DespairsRay, Girugamesh, Godsmack, Linkin Park, Earshot.

7PM // PROPHETS ROSE
Prophets Rose began in the early nineties in the Merseyside mining town of St Helens. Through a mutual love of rock music, Gaz having a lot of previous live experience and Dave for the buzz, they decided to form a band, Prophets Rose. The song writing partnership of Gaz and Dave soon produced ‘The Prophecy’ a three track demo recorded at The Ranch studios, Liverpool. The demo soon became a popular soundtrack to Friday Rock nights in their hometown and was regularly played on local radio. A lot of small local gigs were played which built up a popular following but the fame they sought seemed always tantalisingly out of reach. The music was to sit on the backburner and as time is impatient and unkind, the two guys remained close friends but got on with their lives. For Gaz the flame still burned and when My Space arrived it rekindled his dream of bringing Prophet’s Rose to a new audience. Gaz and Dave are currently finishing work on two new studio albums ‘Paranor’ and ‘Beyond the Edge of Time’.
